Clubs
JCPE offers a wide range of extra curricular clubs for your school, all subject to staff availability and can be paid for by the school or parents/guardians. For prices and children cap information, please register your interest using the buttons below.
Multi-skills
A club that focus is on fun and development of fundamental skills and movements. Normally associated with KS1 but can be set up for KS2 clubs too.
Football
Football club can be set up for inclusion or competitive school team. Links to the professional game and Computer game FIFA are used to inspire children whilst in the club.
Tag Rugby
Tag Rugby is a non-tackle minimal contact version of Rugby. The game is played in two teams, usually 5-7 players per team. The aim of the game is to ground the ball over your opponent’s try line, to score a try. The team with the most tries at the end of the game wins.
Quicksticks
Quicksticks is a 4-a-side introductory game of hockey, designed especially for 7-11 year olds to play. It can be played on any surface, and uses a larger, lighter and safer ball.
Kwik Cricket
Kwik Cricket is the fun way of getting boys and girls aged five to 11 into cricket and developing basic skills. The game is played with a plastic bat and ball and each team has eight players with at least one girl – and bats for eight overs. The team is divided into four pairs with each pair batting for two overs each
Hi-5 Netball
High 5 is a great way to get kids to get active, enjoy themselves and make new friends. It’s designed specifically for children aged 9 – 11 and uses fun and variety to get them into the game, polish skills and aid fitness. With five players on court, and up to four off court roles.
Dodgeball
The objective of dodgeball is to eliminate all players of the opposing team by throwing one of four game balls and hitting the opposing player below the shoulders on the fly. Each team starts with ONE (1) ball and then there are TWO (2) balls evenly spread on the center line at the beginning of each game.
Basketball
Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball through the defender’s hoop while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop
Gymnastics
Gymnastics is a sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups
Athletics
group of sporting events that involves competitive running, jumping, throwing, and walking. The most common types of athletics competitions are track and field, road running, cross country running, and racewalking
Mini-red tennis
How it works. Mini Tennis Red is for players aged 8 and under. It is played on small courts with short rackets and soft balls.

eat well, sleep well, keep active, increase their emotional wellbeing and maintain a healthy weight. Focusing on simple, enjoyable and achievable ways families can include physical activity and healthier eating into their everyday lives.
