Power of sport
We help a school raise over £5000 with their Sport Relief fundraiser. The BBC recognises their commitment and efforts on tv in 2018.
Graduate of Liverpool John Moore’s university, Joe began is career in Primary PE and School Sport at Frodsham C of E primary School. Here he began to create a network of education and sport professionals who remain an integral part of the JCPE family to this day. In 2018, Joe became self-employed to help achieve the goal of reaching more schools, more teachers and ultimately more children.
JCPE now aims to bring university sports coaching research to primary school teachers. We understand may teachers have little training in PE and ultimately because of this don’t feel confident in teaching the subject effectively, or leading School Sport programmes efficiently. We’ve experienced what PE and School Sport can bring to school and the young lives of the children if approached correctly. Our aim is to recreate this experience in more schools!
We know what the power of Primary PE and School Sport can bring to schools, we’ve lived it. We want to bring that experience to more schools and more children!
Joe’s approach to PE and school sport started to attract recognition and praise by the end of his tenure at Frodsham C of E primary school. Teachers within Chester and Cheshire west cluster of schools, started to approach Joe for assistance in strengthening the physical education programme in their classes and schools.
We now assist a range of schools around the North West area with anything PE, school sport, and physical activity (PESSPA).
We help schools achieve the possible with sport.
It’s important to develop healthy attitude towards physical literacy. We make this a key aspect of our approach, maintaining good levels of self-esteem and self-efficiency.
Scientific research is used in JCPE provision to make sure PE is inclusive this includes relative age effect and talent identification processes
